What You'll Be Doing
As a Tour Manager with Riviera Travel, you'll embark on a journey with one of the UK's most successful escorted tour operators. This role offers the thrill of travel, but it's also demanding, with significant responsibilities and high expectations.
You will enrich our itineraries by sharing your insights into the history, culture, and local life of each destination. Your role also includes coordinating with hoteliers and local suppliers to manage any logistical needs.

Who You Are
You might be...
Already be an experienced Tour Manager with a deep understanding of various destinations and a passion for learning more.
You'll possess excellent listening and communication skills, paired with a natural talent for planning and organization.
You will ooze confidence, be articulate with the ability to assess and adapt to different group dynamics...this is essential in this role.
Being a Tour Manager can be very demanding and include working long hours, so it is important that you are able to perform the essential physical tasks of the job.
Or you might be...
Someone who is not an experienced Tour Manager, but you have lots of relevant skills when it comes to being organised, friendly and knowledgeable plus,
Previous experience working in retail, as aircrew or in the hospitality industry. You may have honed your organisational skills working in the police, the military, nursing, or teaching. Face-to-face experience of dealing with people is essential.
Excellent listening and communication skills, paired with a natural talent for planning and organisation. Confidence, articulation, and the ability to gauge and adapt to different group dynamics.
Demonstrable experience in providing outstanding customer service and possess the resilience to look after your group for a week at a time then this could be the perfect fit for you!
Additional language skills are always a bonus as a Tour Manager. If you do have additional language skills, please note this on your application form.

The Application Process
Following your email with your CV, you will then be sent a short application form to help us to process your application as quickly as possible. The deadline to complete the application form is

If you are selected to move to the next stage of the application process following your application form, we will contact you from
Monday 20th October 2025
to invite you to attend an online assessment centre, which will last half a day (4 hours, 1100-1500 UK time). More information will be provided to successful candidates at this stage, and you will have the opportunity to book on to a selection of dates for your assessment centre, though late October and early November.
The assessment centre will be held online and will involve some group activities and an interview. The assessment centre will be conducted in English. Each date has limited availability, so we advise successful candidates to book an assessment centre as soon as possible.
We will confirm if you have been successful following your assessment centre
on 10th November 2025
, with on-boarding sessions being held online throughout December 2025 and January 2026.

Contract Terms
This is a self-employed role. If not already, you would be required to register yourself as self-employed and, if successful, you would be contracted as a service provider to Riviera Travel on a tour-by-tour basis.
The tour schedule is based on your availability, preferences and experience payment is made on invoice, in advance of each tour.
