Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team and provide 1:1 in person educational support to students. The successful candidate will assist in enhancing young people's learning experiences through tailored tutoring sessions.

Inclusion is at the heart of what we do. we use the relational approach.

DBS & safeguarding/prevent training is a must (this can be arranged If successful). We follow safer recruitment guidelines.

A driving licence and access to transport are desirable.

Duties:- Communicate effectively with students and parents to understand a young persons individual learning needs.

Provide specialised education support, particularly in special education areas of SEMH and or Autism/ADHD.

Educate and guide students in English & Maths that is appropiate to their cognitive age-not necessarily their biological age.

The ability to tutor students from aged 5-16.

The ability to Engage with young people to create a positive and productive learning environment.

Conduct tutoring sessions to help students improve their academic and social & emotional skills.

Qualifications :- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is essential.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and Specialised knowledge in specific subjects or special education is advantageous.

Ability to engage and educate children effectively according to their needs

A passion for helping students succeed through personalised tutoring sessions and a good sense of humour definitely helps!

Pay: 30.00-45.00 per hour
