Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy

Hours per Week:

30 hours per week

Weeks Paid per Year:

Term Time + 2 Days

Days and Times:

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 15:30 (1 Hour Unpaid Lunch)

Contract type:

Fixed Term until 31.08.2026 (Possibility of being made Permanent)

Reporting to:

The school SENCo and Class Teacher

Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant.

We are a single academy trust with almost 400 pupils on role and have recently opened a new SEMH Hub as part of the school. Our parents and families actively support their children and engage in many aspects of school life, including the wider community events, in which we excel.

We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in SEND, Early Years and Supporting Teaching & Learning with a high level of BSL skills.

We are looking for someone who:

Can work with class teachers to raise the progress and attainment of pupils Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem and social inclusion Is able to work within classes, one to one and with small groups of children Has previous experience of working in education, early years is preferred but not essential Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare Studies
