Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for vulnerable young people?



Esland Grantham School is seeking a dedicated

SEN Tutor

to deliver high-quality education to small groups and individuals, both within our school and through outreach services in surrounding children's homes.

You'll be supporting children aged

8 to 18

with

SEMH and complex needs

, helping them achieve their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Requirements for a SEN Tutor





Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), PTLLS, or equivalent Qualified Teacher Status (or close to achieving it) Experience working with young people with SEMH and complex needs Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour Knowledge of vocational pathways and subjects Experience in 1:1 and small group tutoring Strong planning, evaluation, and differentiation skills Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
