As a Tutor, you will provide personalised instruction in various subjects, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence.

Duties

Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop customised lesson plans. Provide clear explanations of concepts and encourage critical thinking. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and study skills. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that motivates students to excel. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in the relevant subject area. Strong understanding of educational principles and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Patience, empathy, and the ability to inspire confidence in students. Ability to work flexibly according to students' schedules, including evenings or weekends if necessary. A degree in education or a related field is desirable but not essential; relevant qualifications are an advantage. Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms is beneficial.
