Senior Accounts Administrator
to join our friendly Finance/Accounts team.

About the role:
As a Senior Accounts Administrator, you'll provide support to the Head of Accounts in this new role in a busy and evolving finance team, undertaking some key tasks predominantly around new and used vehicle sales/purchases, and associated aftersales function.
Responsibilities:
Manage all vehicle purchase and related costs, along with allocation on stocking plan funding lines.
Oversight and monthly reconciliation of company stocking plan lines totalling 30m.
Ensure vehicle stocking plan terms are correctly administered and in line with plan terms.
Administration of UK and European manufacturer supply/pricing terms and ensure that these are being adhered to.
Administration of overseas supplier base and scheduling of monthly payment run.
Reconciliation of Euro and US Dollar Bank Statements.
Administration of manufacturer volume related bonuses and incentive schemes, and associated raising of manual invoices/monthly statements alongside credit control.
Reconcile service payment plans.
Post and reconcile Finance commissions received
Administration of customer deposits in relation to vehicles, parts, service, and shop.
Reconcile/review warranty credits to the purchase ledger and clear down warranty ledger.
Reconcile/review pre-authorised warranty credits received and allocate when work complete.
Audit vehicle stock book costs and close vehicle sales at month end.
Provide holiday cover for the banking and purchase ledger roles.
Provide limited holiday cover for the Head of Accounts.
For the right candidate, there will be the opportunity for self-development around the areas of:
Support with the production of monthly management accounts, and weekly flash reports.
Quarterly VAT returns.
Administration of stocking plan forecasts.
What we're looking for:
An experienced professional with a strong understanding of accounting practices, well versed in sales ledger, purchase ledger, and stock/funding reconciliation.
Previous experience in motor trade or leisure industry would be ideal, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Strong written /verbal communication, and organisation skills.
IT Skills: strong ability in Microsoft product suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of CDK, or other DMS systems, would be highly beneficial.
Positive Attitude: friendly but professional manner and will demonstrate integrity, discretion, and objectivity, along with an ability to work methodically under pressure.
You must be able to reliably commute to our site due to limited public transport.
