Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Account Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in accounting software and contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes. The position is paid and ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts administration and experience with leading accounting platforms.

Duties



Oversee and process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors Maintain and update financial records using recognised accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements in accordance with organisational policies Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tasks Liaise with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls Provide guidance to junior team members on accounting procedures and best practices

Requirements



Proven experience in accounts administration or finance roles, preferably as a Senior Account Administrator or similar position Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Solid understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping Good communication skills, both written and verbal Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
