The Senior Affiliates Manager will be a key player in our paid teams, responsible for developing, executing, and optimising comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of agency clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of growing affiliate programs, fostering strong publisher relationships, and driving significant ROI. You will be responsible for end-to-end program management, from client management and activation to performance analysis and optimisation, ensuring our clients achieve their growth objectives through the affiliate channel.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement robust, data-driven affiliate marketing strategies tailored to individual client goals and industry verticals. Working with our Client Services team, identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the affiliate landscape.

Program Management:

Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple affiliate programs, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and adherence to client objectives.

Publisher Recruitment & Relationship Management:

Proactively identify, recruit, and onboard high-quality affiliates and partners across various verticals (e.g., content sites, coupon sites, loyalty programs, influencers, cashback). Nurture strong, long-term relationships with key publishers to maximise performance and loyalty.

Performance Optimisation:

Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise affiliate program performance using key metrics (e.g., traffic, conversions, AOV, EPC, ROI). Implement A/B tests, adjust commission structures, and develop promotional calendars to drive incremental growth.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generate detailed performance reports, provide actionable insights, and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders. Clearly articulate program progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Budget Management:

Manage affiliate marketing budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising return on ad spend (ROAS).

Compliance & Fraud Prevention:

Ensure all affiliate activities comply with relevant regulations, client brand guidelines, and industry best practices. Implement strategies to mitigate fraud and maintain program integrity.

Technology & Tools:

Leverage affiliate network platforms (e.g., Awin, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising, Partnerize), tracking tools, and analytics platforms to manage and optimise programs.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams including Paid Media, SEO, Content, and Creative to ensure integrated marketing strategies and maximise cross-channel synergies.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay up to date of the latest affiliate marketing trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Client Engagement & Pitching:

Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products/services and addressing client needs and objections to secure new business.

Sales Material Development & Audits:

Create and refine high-impact sales collateral, including presentations, proposals, and case studies. This includes regularly auditing existing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with current marketing and sales strategies.

Line Management Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the Affiliate function, acting as a role model for company values while overseeing team recruitment, development, performance, operations, commercial output and continuous improvement.

Skills and Knowledge:

At least 3+ year experience in a similar role. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience managing budgets and forecasting revenue. Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms and tools, such as Awin & Impact. Good understanding of the entire marketing journey, and how affiliate marketing assists other channels. You will demonstrate our Company values in your day to day interactions with team members and clients. Interpersonal skills - Clear and effective communicator. Provide feedback. Ability to actively listen to team members building trust. Resolve conflicts.
