We\'re searching for an exceptional individual who is passionate about driving positive change. As a Senior Analyst, you\'ll take ownership of the consolidation and group reporting of our monthly Sustainability and ESG metrics, ensuring adherence to the appropriate framework. You\'ll be a key player in delivering results at a fast pace.

But that\'s not all. In this role, you will lead the team on the content of our Annual Report and Sustainability report. You will ensure Smiths\' continued alignment with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and advance our alignment with the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Proactively managing and improving our response processes for established rating agencies such as CDP, ISS, FTSE4Good, MCSI, and Sustainalytics will be part of your responsibility.

Drawing from internal, external, and analytical intelligence, you will guide, test, and develop comprehensive ESG strategies that deliver real-world performance and value to our stakeholders. You will also support and synthesize relevant standards and regulations such as CBAM, CRSD, CSDDD, working closely with government relations to identify changes and advise on internal integration within the divisions and Smiths Group.

As a Senior Analyst, you will lead the monthly ESG reporting, including metrics, while supporting report writing and providing valuable insights. You will identify, measure, and track Smiths Group\'s and peer ESG ratings performance or initiatives to identify and recommend actionable insights. Reporting and tracking green revenue in line with relevant taxonomy will be another crucial aspect of your role.

Building key relationships with Investor Relations, Communications, and Company Secretary teams, you will provide timely and accurate information as required, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the consolidation and group reporting of the monthly Sustainability and ESG metrics together with ensuring that the appropriate framework is adhered to.
  • Lead team on Annual Report/Sustainability report content
  • Ensure Smiths continued alignment with TCFD and advance alignment for SASB and UN SDGs
  • Proactively manage and improve Smiths response processes for established rating agencies CDP, ISS, FTSE4Good, MCSI and Sustainalytics.
