About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and integration of our electronic and mechanical design data. The successful candidate will be responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout, and mechanical CAD support, ensuring robust, manufacturable designs that meet project, quality, and regulatory requirements. This role will involve close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-performance electronic and electro-mechanical products.?

What You'll Be Doing

ECAD & PCB Design

Capture schematics and perform multi-layer PCB layout using industry-standard ECAD tools. Lead design reviews focused on signal integrity, EMC, and DFM/DFT best practices. Build and manage CAD libraries (symbols, footprints, 3D models) with version control. Generate fabrication/assembly docs and production files (Gerbers, pick-and-place, etc.). Support production by resolving PCB/BOM issues and implementing design updates.
Mechanical Integration

Review and update mechanical CAD for electromechanical compatibility. Work with mechanical teams to align ECAD/MCAD data and enclosure fit. Assist in 2D component drawings and mechanical integration tasks.
Data & Configuration Management

Maintain CAD tools, libraries, and configuration control for ECAD/MCAD. Ensure BOM traceability and compliance with quality standards.
Collaboration & Improvement

Participate in cross-discipline reviews and supplier/manufacturing collaboration. Drive improvements in CAD processes, libraries, and workflows.
What You'll Bring

Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) - e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, Cadence Allegro, or similar. PCB design techniques, including multilayer, high-speed, and mixed-signal design. Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) for production-scale volumes. Mechanical CAD (MCAD) - e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor. Configuration management and product lifecycle management tools (e.g., PDM, PLM). Understanding of EMC, thermal, and mechanical considerations in PCB and enclosure design.
