The Role




The Senior Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting Norton's commercial planning and marketing functions, delivering actionable insights and ensuring robust data-driven decision-making across the business. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic outcomes.


The role spans data analysis, competitive intelligence, commercial reporting, and administrative support--enabling informed decisions across sales, marketing, aftersales, network development, and alternative revenue streams.

Duties/Responsibilities



Data Analysis & Insight Reporting



Provide analytical support to Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Aftersales, Network Development, and Alternative Revenue teams. Source, validate, and manage data from both internal systems and third-party sources, ensuring accuracy and business relevance. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track performance against KPIs, targets, and strategic goals. Translate data into clear insights and recommendations, identifying trends and opportunities to optimise commercial outcomes. Present insights in a clear, compelling format to senior stakeholders, influencing strategy and decision-making.

Administrative & Financial Support



Manage the purchase order process for commercial initiatives, ensuring spend aligns with budgets and business priorities. Oversee invoice reconciliation, validation, and timely submission, maintaining alignment with finance teams and project leads. Support financial tracking of campaign and project budgets in collaboration with marketing and operations.

Meeting & Project Coordination



Coordinate cross-functional meetings, planning sessions, and workshops, ensuring agendas, materials, and logistics are in place. Maintain and update the Product Planning Request Register, tracking incoming requests, follow-ups, and stakeholder communication. Provide general project coordination support for key commercial initiatives, ensuring timelines and communication flows are maintained.

Personal Specification




5-7 Years experience in a commercial, business analyst, or strategy role, ideally in a consumer product, automotive, or manufacturing business. Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Data Studio). Experience sourcing, cleaning, and analysing data from multiple sources, including third-party datasets. Demonstrated ability to deliver data insights that influence strategy and improve business performance. Comfortable working across a matrixed organisation and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail, with strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills. Experience managing budget tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
