Job Description


Haymarket Events is renowned for producing quality events featuring high-level speakers and great content of varying formats. We are looking for the right candidate to help us grow our existing event portfolio and help us shape the future of our event portfolio.

This role would suit a conference producer with a year or two of experience looking to take the next step in their career. A proven track record of delivering B2B events is a must. The right candidate will champion process, be curious and passionate about producing engaging events.

This role will suit someone who wants to elevate their skill level and lead the growth on some of our biggest events in the portfolio. We are looking for someone who is results-oriented, driven and ambitious.

You must have excellent stakeholder management and be able to work with our Editorial and brand teams in a collaborative and meaningful manner. We are looking for someone who can create pertinent and engaging content whilst integrating new and innovative formats to their agendas.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualities:

Proven experience producing B2B conferences

Experience in developing agendas for big events, conducting in depth research and entrenching yourself within your industry

Strong commercial understanding and focus, ability to assist commercial in key conversations

Track record of delivering large scale events is a plus

Recruits and manages advisory board where necessary

Fostering productive internal relationships with key stakeholders

Ability to work towards a deadline and hold self and team accountable to this

Ability to monitor market trends to facilitate new ideas for events

Design and implement new event formats and ideas into agendas to increase networking opportunities throughout the event

Proven track record of recruiting high- quality, senior level speakers

Experience in a publishing company is a bonus but not essential

Ability to work within a matrix structure and engage key stakeholders is a bonus but not essential

Skills:

Strong research and analytical skills that lead to well thought out agendas

Strong telephone manner and ability to speak face-to-face with senior executives in the market

Ability to curate quality, leading agendas from information gathered from multiple sources

Ability to multitask on many different projects, whilst remaining highly-organised

Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong copywriting ability

Ability to share your vision for growth with the broader team and engage internal stakeholders

Commercially astute

Excellent organisational skills and time management

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and working under pressure

Excellent at building relationships and working with a range of stakeholders
