Fabrication & Engineering Department

precision metalwork, structural components, and custom engineering solutions

. We are expanding our design team and require a

Mechanical Design Engineer

with

experience in metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes

This is an

on-site role in Craigavon

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop metal fabrication components

for forestry and engineering applications.

Use SolidWorks

to create 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation.

Work closely with fabrication and production teams

to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

Conduct material selection, structural calculations, and stress analysis

for fabricated components.

Support new product development and continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

?

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

.

2:1 or Higher

?

Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software

.
?

Minimum of 2 years' experience in metal fabrication

design

.

Strong knowledge of welding processes, sheet metalwork, and structural steel fabrication

.

Ability to work on-site in Craigavon
