Senior Finance Analyst

UE06: \xc2\xa331,396 - \xc2\xa336,024 per annum

CAHSS FBP Team / Finance Directorate

Open Ended Contract - Full Time - 35 hours per week

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Business Partnering team within the College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS). This is a key business-facing role that will suit candidates who have excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Supporting finance business partners across CAHSS by preparing journals and management accounts; providing financial analysis and management information for both strategic and operational purposes; reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy of processing according to University policies and procedures; reinforcing wider understanding of financial policies and procedures by liaising with staff across deaneries; and developing effective working relationship with key stakeholders to assist with gathering of financial data.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Either HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in relevant discipline plus relevant experience Or broad experience acquired through on-the-job training.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Have customer-focussed approach.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to tight schedules.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
