We are looking for an inspiring and ambitious Senior Inclusion Support Worker (ISW) to join our skilled and effective team. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children with additional needs and will take the lead in the assessment and intervention of students under the direction of the SENDCo.
The successful candidate will hold GCSE A- C / 9 - 4 or equivalent in English and Maths, have relevant experience of working with students, and will have a sound understanding of how to support and facilitate the learning and progress of students. You will play a pivotal role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, therefore raising the standards of education attainment.
Can you motivate students to achieve their best? Are you passionate about instilling a 'Growth Mindset' and nurturing students to see challenges as opportunities to flourish? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
If you are considering a route into teaching, this is a perfect way to gain experience. With the appropriate qualifications, you could then go on to apply to train to teach with us on our exciting 1-year programme through the School Direct initiative in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and Leeds Beckett University.
Brayton Academy has been 'Outstanding' for a number of years and our most recent inspection has confirmed this remains the case. The key reasons for this are our students' exemplary behaviour and excellent attitudes to learning, an exceptional teaching team, a genuine commitment to staff welfare underpinned by our unique coaching model and a visible and supportive Leadership Team. This enables students to make substantial progress which places us in the top 100 schools in England. This truly is an excellent time to join our thriving academy.
Brayton Academy is proud to be part of Resilience Multi Academy Trust. The ethos of resilience, a Growth Mindset and Positive Discipline has helped to transform schools - from their culture to their Ofsted ratings - as well as the lives of students and teachers.
This role provides a real opportunity for you to make your mark, and as a growing Trust with an excellent reputation, there are always opportunities for career development.
Want to know more? We welcome you to come and visit the academy. Please contact Sophie Addison, PA to the Principal at saddison@braytonacademy.org.uk to book a visit.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service and other statutory checks.
