Purpose of post
We're looking for two experienced and motivated individuals to join our Public Sector Connectivity Branch within the Digital Infrastructure Division. This branch plays a key role in supporting over 120 public sector organisations across Wales by ensuring they have access to reliable, secure, and high-performing digital network services.
You'll be part of a team that helps deliver the infrastructure behind vital public services - from schools and hospitals to local authorities and emergency services. The work you do will have a direct impact on how these organisations operate and serve the people of Wales.
This is a senior role, mapped to the Senior IT Service Manager profile in the Government Digital and Data (DDaT) Profession Framework.

Key tasks Investigating problems and contribute to recommending solutions owning an issue until a new owner has been found or the problem has been mitigated or resolved.
Taking accountability for issues that occur and monitoring and taking a proactive approach in searching for potential solutions
Ensuring the services delivered by the supplier meet its contractual obligations and deliver the best technical solution for our customers.
Build long term strategic relationships with your sector, including WG policy leads by supporting mutual needs and commitments whilst remaining focused on the user need.
Managing relationships effectively with stakeholders from organisations such as the Health Boards, Primary Care, Local Authorities and the supplier.
Monitoring supplier performance on the quality of services delivered.
Able to deal with challenging situations, remove blockers and influence decisions internally and externally.
Promoting the uptake of existing PSBA services and identifying opportunities for new services.
Use data analytic skills to make decisions that enhance business performance
Analyse current processes and identify and implement opportunities to optimise them
