About Blue Earth Summit

Blue Earth Summit harnesses the power of the outdoors to bring people together and transform the impact that business can have on people and the planet.

Following a very successful first two years Blue Earth Summit has received investment and has bold growth plans - aiming to double in size this year the year after and beyond.

Fundamental to its success is the Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead role. This is a permanent position.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

The core purpose of the Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead role is to build an active Blue Earth Community (speakers partners delegates) and to build engage and convert the Blue Earth audience into ticket holders. Identifying critical conversion points and drop off points and optimising user funnels will be key.

As a marketing leader you\xe2\x80\x99ll inspire the team around you to be creative analytical problem solving and positive.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Developing and leading marketing campaigns.
• Brainstorming new and creative marketing strategies.
• Identifying short and long-term marketing opportunities.
• Developing and leading the Blue Earth e-marketing strategy and implementation.
• Establishing Blue Earth\xe2\x80\x99s social media presence (LinkedIn Twitter Facebook Instagram)
• Updating adding to and maintaining the Blue Earth website.
• Using data numbers and analytics to define marketing insights and advantages.
• Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assessing
• against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Drafting short-form and long-form copy that builds excitement and desire.
• Where necessary work with external marketing agencies (Content PR and Paid)

What experience you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to apply

• Proven track record building audiences and marketing large-scale events.
• Significant experience in B2B digital marketing.
• Experience working for a sustainable or purpose-driven organisation is highly desirable.
• Purpose-driven values are a must.
• A strategic and hands on approach.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO marketing database
• email social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
• Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
• Experience with A/B experiments.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics SEMrush etc)
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools
• Experience in setting up and optimising PPC campaigns is desirable (agency support is available)
