About the Role:

The role of Senior Marketing Manager, PBUK Marketing, has a significant focus on originating and coordinating marketing strategy, plans and activity \xe2\x80\x93 with key responsibilities including:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing \xe2\x80\x93 UK & EMEA to develop and execute the annual marketing plan, ensuring alignment to good client outcomes, business performance, and brand building objectives.
  • Effective campaign management to deliver and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including Events, Thought leadership, Digital and the effective use of social media.
  • Understanding the segment or product needs to brief, manage and implement campaign activity which supports segment or product commercial objectives.
  • Ensure all activity communicates strong clients propositions to targeted client segments based on insight.
  • Responsible for the creative development process, including agency relationships and processes to support creativity and consistency throughout the markets.
  • Manage relevant aspects of brand governance in terms of guidance, framework and templates and the processes that support their use.
  • Ensure that campaign effectiveness is maximised by linking external Marketing campaigns with internal business outcomes and awareness.
  • Direction and management of third party agency support.
  • Risk, Budget and Process management taking into account local market regulatory and compliance constraints/controls, budgetary control and quarterly risk assessments.
  • Stakeholder management across a significant stakeholder group, including Business Heads, Product & Services Heads, Chief Investment Officers, Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors, Legal, Compliance, Communications \xe2\x80\x93 as well as HSBC UK Marketing and Global Private Banking Marketing teams.
Requirements

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive business experience within a Financial Service based institution, specifically with event management skills in either Luxury or Private Banking.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic needs based solutions both now and in the future.
  • A range of Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and delivering campaign strategies and client events.
  • Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in marketing strategy development and delivery as well as communications development.
  • Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development activities.
  • Able to influence at senior level and lead across functional teams to drive improvement.
  • Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer, business decision maker and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to influence leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts.
