What makes this a great opportunity?This position plays an important role defining and executing the strategic vision for our brand homes and hospitality assets in Scotland and Ireland, ensuring they are recognised as premier destinations that embody the brand values and heritage.Role ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:

  • Develop and articulate a compelling strategic vision for the Scottish and Irish Brand Homes that aligns with the global brand strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Lead the long-term planning and execution of initiatives that enhance brand equity and position these properties as world-class destinations.
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the operational management of all Brand Homes and Hospitality assets, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency that meets our standards of world-class experiences.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimise visitor engagement and experience, driving both revenue and brand loyalty.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards across all brand homes and hospitality assets, creating a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Community Engagement
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders, ensuring that our brand homes contribute positively to their social and economic well-being.
  • Design and implement community engagement initiatives that promote local heritage and culture, enhancing the authenticity of the guest experience.
Trade Visitor Programme Development
  • Develop and oversee a best-in-class trade visitor programme, attracting industry professionals, influencers, and media to experience our brand homes.
  • Collaborated with marketing and distribution teams to create unique and engaging trade-focussed experiences that showcase the properties and generate valuable media coverage and partnerships.
Capex Planning and Management
  • Lead the capital expenditure (Capex) planning process for the brand homes, identifying opportunities for investment in facilities, technology, and enhancements to improve guest experiences.
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to develop, track and manage Capex budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and maximising return on investment.
Team Development:
  • Build and lead a high performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability.
  • Encourage a service-oriented mindset across all levels of the organisation, emphasising the importance of attention to detail, personalisation, and responsiveness in every guest interaction.
Financial Stewardship:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics for the brand homes, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability for Scotch and Irish Brand Homes.
  • Drive profitability through effective cost management and revenue generating initiatives.
Brand Marketing and Experience Innovation:
  • Collaborate with senior marketing leaders to design and implement innovative marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive experiences at the brand homes.
  • Enhance the visitor experience through curated programmes, events and partnerships that reflect the unique heritage and DNA of the brands and align with our vision for world-class service.
Performance Measurement:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure success and drive continuous improvement across brand home initiative.
  • Report regularly to senior management, providing insights on performance, challenges and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four years of executive leadership experience in the hospitality, tourism, or brand management industries, with a strong focus on experiential marketing and operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading brand homes or high-profile experiential venues with significant revenue impact.
  • Extensive experience in developing and manage trade visitor programmes that drive industry engagement and media exposure.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry, with experience in implementing and monitoring compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in Capex planning and management, with a focus on maximising investment returns.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop talent.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
