About The Role
We are looking for a senior payroll advisor to join a progressive payroll bureau. The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients, dealing with the full end to end payroll process. This role is for someone who is experienced in payroll processing within a bureau setting and is looking for an opportunity to develop and advance within a growing practice.
Location
Onsite in any of our offices as required - currently located in Blackburn, Bolton and Manchester. Hybrid policy enabling staff to work from home some days once settled.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of all payroll processes and procedures
Ability to understanding and apply all payroll legislation when processing payrolls
Preparation and submission of various payroll documents such as FPS/EPS/CIS/reclaims/Maternity refunds
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Paycircle
Experience with submission of P11D's/Payrolling Benefits in Kind
Duties
Processing and reviewing payrolls for a portfolio of clients
Processing of payroll/reports/advising clients on general payroll matters
Ensuring all compliance deadlines met for clients in a timely manner
Assisting with ad-hoc projects
Payroll enquiries
Liaising with other specialist departments of the firm and any 3rd parties such as HMRC
Registration of PAYE scheme
Implementation of new payrolls
Advising on suitable pension schemes and the registration of these schemes
Manual calculations of all statutory additions/deductions
Administration duties as and when required
Management
Managing workload accordingly, prioritising when necessary
Assistance in management, mentoring, training and support junior team members
