Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sr. ServiceNow Developer/Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and be adept at developing, configuring, and implementing solutions that enhance our IT service management processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

This is an in-person role. The successful candidate must report to the London office daily for work. Sponsorship is not available.

Duties

Design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow solutions from concept to production. Lead testing efforts, including unit testing and UAT for enhancements and new features. Evaluate and recommend out-of-the-box ServiceNow tools and integrations. Document technical designs, runbooks, and participate in agile team meetings. Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and services to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement RESTful web services for seamless integration with other applications. Design and maintain system architecture to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Conduct load balancing to enhance system reliability and availability. Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting. Utilize VBA for automating repetitive tasks and improving efficiency. Participate in continuous integration processes to streamline development workflows. Troubleshoot issues related to the ServiceNow platform and provide timely resolutions. Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.

Skills

Proficient in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and custom applications. Strong knowledge of architecture principles related to ServiceNow implementations. Experience with REST APIs and web services for application integration. Familiarity with load balancing techniques to ensure application performance. Proficient in T-SQL for database management and reporting purposes. Knowledge of VBA for task automation is advantageous. Understanding of continuous integration practices within software development environments. Experience working with Windows operating systems and ESXi environments is beneficial. Proficiency in Java programming is a plus.

Requirements

6+ years as a lead or senior developer on full ServiceNow deployments. Strong expertise in JavaScript, APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and low-code tools. Experience with ITSM, ITOM, AppEngine, CMDB, and at least one specialty area (e.g., HRSD, SecOps). ServiceNow CSA required; CIS preferred; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
