The Role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Sports Coach

to take a leadership role within our coaching team. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding PE lessons, leading holiday camps, and mentoring junior coaches. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their coaching career.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and evaluate outstanding PE and sports sessions. Mentor and support junior coaches, ensuring high-quality delivery. Lead holiday camps, after-school clubs, and community sports programmes. Build strong relationships with schools, parents, and partners. Assist in developing new coaching programmes and opportunities. Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards are met.

Essential Requirements

Minimum

NGB Level 2 (or higher)

coaching qualification in at least one sport. At least 3 years' coaching experience in schools or community settings. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and mentor junior staff. Strong understanding of the

primary PE curriculum

and child development. Full UK driving licence and access to own transport. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Degree in Sports Coaching, PE, or related subject. Additional NGB qualifications across multiple sports. Valid

First Aid

and

Safeguarding

certificates. Experience delivering CPD or training to other coaches.

Pay: 20,500.00-22,000.00 per year
