Senior Support Worker - Lead with Compassion, Inspire Change


Location:

Rochdale (OL11) or Bradford (Driving Essential)

Pay:

13.40 - 14.40 per hour (Dependent on Qualifications & Experience)

Sleep-ins:

50 per sleep-in

Hours:

35-39 hours per week (Full-time) or 16 hours per week (Part-time)

Shifts:

1 on / 2 off | Monthly rota including weekends

Sleep-ins:

6-10 per month (Paid in addition to base salary)

Time Off:

One full weekend off per month

We're looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our small, therapeutic team, supporting three young people aged 10-18 with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and anxiety. If you have experience in residential care and are ready to take on a leadership role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do

Provide therapeutic support using the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) Support young people in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and life skills Lead by example and support junior staff in delivering high-quality care Step in for the Registered Manager during periods of absence and annual leave Mentor and guide your team to ensure a nurturing and consistent environment Provide coverage for sickness, holidays, and sleep-ins, and support in other homes as needed Be available to work Bank Holidays and Christmas when required
What You'll Need

A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle Solid experience in residential care, ideally supporting young people with EBD Leadership experience or potential for a senior/mentoring role Emotional resilience, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping young people thrive Flexibility to work across the rota, including weekends and sleep-ins
