27,000 - 30,000 per year (depending on experience and sleep-in shifts)

Contract:

Full-time, permanent

Hours:

42 hours per week, on a rolling rota (including sleep-ins)

We're looking for a dedicated

Senior Support Worker

to join a supportive and therapeutic children's residential care team in Coventry. This is your chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) by providing structure, consistency, and care in a nurturing environment.

What You'll Do

Support the daily running of the home alongside the management team Lead and guide support workers to deliver high-quality care Build positive relationships with young people and act as a trusted role model Support with care planning, record-keeping, and safeguarding responsibilities Encourage personal development, emotional regulation, and healthy routines Work as part of a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties

What You'll Need

Minimum of 1 year's experience in a children's residential setting Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) Confidence, empathy, and strong leadership skills Good knowledge of safeguarding, EBD, and trauma-informed approaches A full UK driving licence is preferred Enhanced DBS and suitable references
