that supports the emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent, high-quality care and emotional support within a therapeutic residential setting.
Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior staff, offering guidance and leadership.
Support the creation and delivery of personalised care and support plans.
Participate in team meetings, handovers, and multi-agency reviews to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
Build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Foster a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that promotes healing, growth, and resilience.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- essential.
Minimum
1 year's experience
in a children's residential setting - preferred.
Previous
senior or supervisory experience
- desirable.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Compassionate, resilient, and dedicated to a child-centred approach.
Full UK Driving Licence
- required.
Sound understanding of safeguarding and children's home regulations.
