The Role


As a Senior/Assistant Manager in our Corporate Tax team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to our clients. You'll produce accurate, insightful tax work, support the development of junior colleagues, and manage key deadlines while ensuring adherence to statutory obligations and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Managing the delivery of day-to-day corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring technical accuracy and submission in line with HMRC deadlines. Supporting and mentoring junior team members to develop their tax skills and ensure high-quality client deliverables. Providing clients with timely and relevant tax advice, including on matters such as group relief, capital allowances, and loss utilisation. Liaising with HMRC on client matters, managing enquiries and correspondence effectively. Identifying opportunities for tax planning and working closely with senior colleagues to develop solutions. Accurately recording chargeable time and ensuring optimal recovery of billable hours. Planning and managing your workload to meet client expectations and internal review schedules.

Key Requirements:


We're seeking a quality-focused individual passionate about corporate tax and committed to professional development.

ACA/ACCA qualified. CTA qualification desirable or working towards.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships. Dependable team player with a collaborative approach. Self-motivated and able to work independently where required. Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage multiple assignments. Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
