We're looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager to join the team at Repeat. You'll be responsible for building and delivering SEO strategies that get results, for our clients and for our own brand too.
You'll start out managing a few client accounts while also taking the lead on improving Repeat's SEO. That means everything from technical tweaks and link building to content planning and optimisation. As we grow and bring on more clients, your role will grow too, giving you the chance to take on more projects and make a real impact.
The salary range for this position is 30,000 - 35,000 per year.
37.5 working hours per week.
Hybrid working (Mon & Thurs in the Long Eaton office, the rest from home).
Responsibilities & Duties
Creating and running SEO strategies that work.
Using tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and SERanking to do keyword research, technical audits, and competitor analysis.
Making sure sites are running well technically and improving things like page speed, structure, and crawlability.
Writing or guiding content that ranks, whether that's blogs, landing pages, and other key site pages.
Making on-page improvements in WordPress and other CMS platforms (editing metadata, headings, content, etc).
Working closely with our PPC team to make sure we're all pulling in the same direction.
Building strong relationships with your clients, explaining results, answering questions, and showing them the value of what you do.
Reporting on traffic, rankings, and other key metrics using Google Analytics and our SEO tools.
Managing your time across multiple clients and keeping everything running smoothly.
Supporting internal processes and tools like our CRM and Clockify.
Keeping up to speed with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and new ideas.
Helping out with Repeat's own SEO and pitching in on marketing projects.
Assisting the sales team with audits and SEO input for proposals when needed.
What we're looking for
2 years of experience working in SEO, preferably in an agency.
Confident planning and running SEO strategies from start to finish.
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link-building best practices.
Able to write clear, SEO-friendly content or if needed, guide clients to do it well.
Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, SERanking, Screaming Frog, and WordPress.
Strong communication skills, so you can explain SEO in a way that clients understand and value.
Good attention to detail and a methodical way of working.
Able to manage your own workload, hit deadlines, and prioritise tasks across different clients.
Curious, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions or share ideas.
Being a team player, you're happy to jump in, help out, and share your knowledge.
Attitude we're looking for
Ambitious - want to grow with us
Kind & collaborative - it's a team effort; we win and lose together
Positive mindset - positivity is infectious
Progressive mindset - continuously developing your skills
Proactive - we don't want to micro manage
Problem solving - we hate excuses, but love finding solutions
Strong decision making - we don't always have to be right, especially when taking risks
Measurables
Over the first 3 months of your role, we need to be certain that you can independently create SEO strategies, implement them for our clients and internally continuously optimise/review the strategies, whilst maintaining a great relationship with them and keeping them happy!
This can be gauged in the following ways:
In-house results
Client retention
Client results
Client feedback
How much support you require
General feedback/feeling from Repeat management
