Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic SEO Specialist to join our team, ensuring the successful delivery of SEO campaigns and keeping Peaky Digital ahead of industry trends.

Reporting to our Head of Digital, we're looking for someone who is highly organised and has a passion for ensuring service excellence while maintaining an in-depth understanding of the latest SEO changes and trends. As our SEO Specialist, you'll be focused on delivering high-quality SEO campaigns, optimising client websites, and making recommendations to drive organic growth.

This role is key to ensuring our SEO campaigns are in line with the latest industry practices and best standards, as well as keeping Peaky Digital on track with evolving changes in SEO algorithms and trends. You'll support the SEO team and our Account Managers in ensuring clients receive the best service and strategy to improve their organic presence.

Key Responsibilities:



SEO Campaign Management:

Plan, implement, and optimise SEO strategies across client websites. Perform in-depth website audits and competitive analysis to ensure optimal website performance. Implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics to improve search engine rankings. Monitor and optimise content and technical SEO elements to drive growth. Troubleshoot and resolve any SEO-related issues impacting client websites.
Analysis & Reporting:

Analyse website performance and SEO campaign results, making necessary adjustments. Produce detailed monthly reports, showcasing insights and results to clients. Provide SEO forecasts and recommendations based on industry trends and data.
Client & Team Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with Account Managers on client SEO performance. Respond proactively to client queries and provide actionable recommendations to improve SEO. Deliver training and consultancy services to clients on SEO best practices. Ensure SEO strategies align with client goals and KPIs. Collaborate with clients' web development teams to implement technical SEO improvements.
Industry Insight & Trends:

Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices. Ensure Peaky Digital's SEO strategies are aligned with the latest industry shifts. Contribute to keeping the team informed of emerging SEO techniques and technologies.

Requirements:



This role requires the applicant to be in the Peaky Digital office 3 days per week, with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Experience:



Strongly desired: agency experience. Essential: proven track record in delivering SEO strategies, with a focus on client service. Essential: experience in conducting technical SEO audits and on-page optimisation. Preferred: experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

Skills & Attributes:



Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts clearly to clients. Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts. Understanding of SEO's relationship with other digital marketing channels (such as Paid Media and Social).

Ideal Candidate:



A detail-oriented, results-driven communicator with solid experience in delivering successful SEO campaigns. They should be confident, communicative, and proactive, with the ability to effectively optimise client websites and drive organic growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for the latest SEO trends and industry changes, ensuring Peaky Digital remains at the forefront of SEO excellence.
