As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating service recommendations and managing the service process from start to finish.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Assess customer needs and provide accurate information regarding vehicle service options. Utilise mechanical knowledge to explain technical issues and service recommendations clearly to customers. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-up actions. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs. Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, striving for resolution and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical information related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Excellent upselling skills with a track record of successfully promoting additional services or products. Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail in financial transactions. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with customers. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
