Service Manager

in Hitchin who combines customer focus with deep installation expertise.

The Role



This role is about

owning service delivery from end to end

. You'll run our Hitchin showroom as the starting point of the journey, but your real impact comes in making sure every installation is completed to world-class standards. From handling post-sale enquiries to personally completing remedial work when required, you'll be the guardian of quality and the person our customers trust to get it right.

You'll need to bring not just service skills, but a real understanding of how a bathroom installation should be delivered - from plumbing and joinery to the finishing touches that make the difference.

What You'll Do:



Lead on service

: Own the customer experience from showroom through installation to aftercare.

Set the standard

: Use your technical knowledge to ensure every bathroom installation meets BMAS's uncompromising quality standards.

Hands-on fixes

: Complete remedial work yourself when required, showing customers our commitment to standing by our work.

Showroom leadership

: Manage the Hitchin showroom, welcome customers, and guide them through solutions with confidence.

Aftercare ownership

: Take charge of all post-sale enquiries, ensuring fast, professional resolution.

Work with teams

: Partner with installers, suppliers, and sales to make sure projects run smoothly and customers are delighted.

Spot improvements

: Identify recurring issues and recommend fixes to improve right-first-time delivery.

What You'll Bring:



Proven hands-on experience in

bathroom installations

- ideally wet rooms, adaptations, or high-spec bathrooms.

A customer-first mindset, with the ability to turn challenges into positive outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills - you know how to put things right quickly and effectively. Organisational ability to balance showroom, service, and operational demands. Communication skills that build trust with customers, installers, and colleagues alike. Energy, pride, and drive to deliver a service experience that's second to none.
