Service Manager - Residential Service


Location:

Streethouse, Wakefield

Salary:

38,000 - 42,000 per annum

Contract Type:

Full-time, Permanent

What You'll Be Doing


Lead from the front:

Be hands-on in daily delivery while coaching your team to thrive

Champion inclusion:

Co-produce support plans and create empowering environments

Grow great people:

Mentor Team Leaders and build strong leadership pipelines

Build brilliant teams:

Recruit, retain, and develop staff who live our values

Stay accountable:

Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards

Lead with values:

Embed trauma-informed, inclusive, and responsive practices

Promote community:

Drive meaningful engagement and participation


Key Responsibilities


Operational leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement Team development, coaching, and culture-building Safeguarding, recovery, and therapeutic support Governance, financial oversight, and health & safety Partnership working with families, professionals, and external agencies


What You'll Bring


Organised, proactive, and values-driven mindset

Proven leadership in health or social care (supervisory, deputy, or management level) Level 4 Health & Social Care (minimum), with commitment to achieving Level 5 Track record of delivering high-quality, person-centred services Compassionate, heart-first leadership Resilience and adaptability under pressure


Additional Requirements


Full UK driving licence and mobility across services
