The Service Standards Mentor & Mobilisation Manager will be pro-active, responsible and accountable for the intensive development and mentoring of the catering service's Unit Chef Managers, Assistant Chef Managers and kitchen teams. Ensuring that the service is delivering food services to a consistent and compliant service standard.



The post holder supports a cluster of up to 50 kitchen teams in individual schools, delivers a full weeks on-site induction programme for all new Unit Chef Managers and their kitchen team whilst embedding a performance management culture and achieving set business targets. Also provides intensive on-site refresher training for Unit Chef Managers and the kitchen team as required to support service improvement plans or following concerns arising from internal audit.





Ensuring that each school contract that FM operates meets client expectations achieves high operational standards and operates as a business unit.



The Service Standards Mentor & Mobilisation Manager continually seeks improvement


and achieves high standards in respect of staff development and working practice,


adherence to operational standards, assisting with the bespoke menu's so that they meet


the school requirements whilst ensuring that customer focus, service flexibility, delivering


the service required by the individual school within the cluster/area.



The post will carry "Casual Car" user status and access to a car for business use is required. The post holder will also have a laptop and tablet so that they can work effectively and efficiently.



Candidates must have the following qualifications:



NVQ Level 3 Food Hygiene (Essential) NVQ Level 4 Management or Hospitality Management or Business Management or equivalent (Desirable) or to be completed within 6 months of commencing employment. IOSH Health & Safety Certificate (Desirable) or to be completed within 6 months of commencing employment.


Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of managing in large scale catering,


Post is Term Time Only 39 week
