Job Description

Brightwell is the primary service provider providing fiduciary management services, member services, operational and secretariat services to the BT Pension Scheme (BTPS) and the complete pensions administration service to the Mineworkers Pensions Scheme (MPS) - two of the largest defined benefit pension schemes in the UK. Brightwell also provides fiduciary management services to the defined benefit section of the EE Pension Scheme (EEPS).

The Service & Support Administrator is responsible for handling day to day service and support to the wider business, including triaging defects, access and change requests. This role will also support in managing aspects of the internal audit which apply to the Administration Systems Team.

Main tasks & responsibilities:



Triage and action business support queries, escalating where needed to ensure resolution within specified service levels. Manage staff access to administrative applications; including new starters, leavers and changes to access, ensuring the process is followed in accordance with data and risks associated to system access. Support aspects of the annual internal audit where relevant to the team and in accordance with requirements. Assist in the organisation and prioritisation of the on-going list of defects and change requests.

A positive and professional attitude including willingness to apply learning and new ways of working Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross functional team The ability to work to deadlines and manage workload appropriately Excellent experience, knowledge and proven capability of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience:



Track record of delivering technical support, troubleshooting, and user assistance to end users of software applications Knowledge and experience of using service management systems to classify, track and resolve software service tickets to deliver within specified service standards Experience in pensions administration systems Experience of software support Understanding of core functionality of Intellipen Pensions Administration system
