We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining an industrial sewing machine.

We work in a relaxed environment and our team is our family.

Responsibilities

Sewing Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal operation Monitor production processes, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain quality standards Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist with inventory management and stock control of raw materials and finished products Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently Carry out other tasks within the remit of the workplace

Qualifications

Previous experience in using a sewing machine Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality control Ability to read technical drawings and operate a sewing machine safely Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving production requirements
This role is suitable for part time flexible hours.

Our opening times are

Monday- Thursday 8:00am- 4:30pm

Friday 8:00am- 12:00pm

We can discuss working hours to suit.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
