Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, and hospitality standards. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling costs effectively.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Previous experience in menu development and recipe creation is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
