Job Title: SHE Advisor (Construction & CDM)

Location: Glascoed, Wales

Salary: \xc2\xa351,262

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Manage the H&S file from project beginning through to completion

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and review key CDM documents such as design risk registers, construction phase plans, pre-construction information and H&S File

\xc2\xb7 Attend design team and client meetings and offer specialist safety advice

\xc2\xb7 Support the business in their role as Client and Principal Designer under CDM 2015 for a range of complex projects

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

\xc2\xb7 NEBOSH General or Construction, or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 Excellent understanding of the 2015 CDM Regulations and worked within the construction and industrial sector for the past 2 years in a H&S capacity (client or contractor biased)

\xc2\xb7 Sound understanding of Safety and Environmental Legislation and standards and requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards

Desirable:

\xc2\xb7 Member, or working towards membership in related Professional Engineering Institution

\xc2\xb7 Principal Designer/CVM accreditation/qualifications

\xc2\xb7 Environmental background i.e., IEMA

\xc2\xb7 Working in a defence related industry background

Our SHE Advisor Team:

As a SHE Advisor you in the capital projects team, you will act as a H&S / CDM Advisor on a diverse portfolio of construction projects within the Glascoed manufacturing site. You will have the opportunity to progress your career in a client-based Construction and CDM environment.
