Shop Assistant/cashier
Job Description
The person will be required to do long shifts, shifts can range from 7am to 8pm, 12 to 10pm, 10 to 10pm . 6 to 7days a week, including Sundays. As a shop assistant you will be trained to cover various tasks within the store including;
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the shop with their inquiries and purchases
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Upsell products and services to customers to maximize sales
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of products
- Sorting out stock deliveries. HEAVY LIFTING INVOLVED
- Shop Merchandising
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 55 - 65 per week
