Shopify E Commerce Lead

Job Description

Montu UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify E-Commerce Lead to own and optimise our online Shopify store. This role will be responsible for managing the entire Shopify ecosystem - including product listings and site performance, driving traffic, improving conversion rates, and managing integrations. This is a hands-on role working cross functionally across commercial, pharmacy and marketing, requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution to deliver revenue growth in a highly regulated industry.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS



Own and manage the pharmacy's Shopify store, including daily operations, product merchandising and content updates Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, patient retention, and overall site performance with a close eye on regulatory compliance Implement and manage third-party Shopify apps and integrations (e.g., Total Processing, Stockify) Optimise the customer journey by improving site UX/UI, load speed, navigation, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow. Analyse site and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and third-party analytics platforms. Coordinate cross-functionally with customer support, logistics, design, and development to ensure a seamless e-commerce operation. Lead A/B testing, CRO efforts, and site personalisation initiatives. Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, industry trends, and e-commerce best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field. 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify store or Shopify Plus environment. Proven success growing DTC or omnichannel e-commerce revenue via Shopify. Strong understanding of Shopify ecosystem. Experience with digital advertising tools (Meta Ads, Google Ads). Analytical and data-driven with strong experience using Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and A/B testing tools. Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Experience working in a regulated industry preferred.

SALARY & BENEFITS



65,000 per annum 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing to 30 days after 1 years service). Generous pension scheme with employer matching contributions up to 5%. Compensation Range: 60K - 65K
