Job Summary

Shoryu Ramen Carnaby, situated in the magical Kingly Court, just off Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus, there's nowhere else to enjoy Japanese ramen under the sun or stars.We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest services skills. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and standards as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous, along with an understanding of food safety practices. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to engage effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the overall guest experience is essential.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
