We are looking for a new part-time Showroom Sales Advisor to join our Marlow Showroom team, and we'd love to hear from you, if you are a friendly and confident communicator who thrives in a customer service/sales role.
This is a permanent role, working 4 hours each Saturday and 4 hours each Sunday.
You will bring transferable retail customer service skills; it will be amazing if you have worked in the UK furniture and homewares market and will be engaging and highly passionate about our brand, products, and the services we provide.
Our Sales Advisors bring energy, are self-motivated, have great communication skills and an interest in talking to our customers.
So, what will I be doing?
Typically, your responsibilities will include:
Providing a welcoming, helpful and personalised customer experience by being knowledgeable about products and interested in furnishings
Driving profitable sales through effective selling techniques, being able to respond to customer queries on price, features and benefits of our products
Identifying customer needs and use product-knowledge to spot potential cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Ensuring the showroom is merchandised in accordance with the agreed layout plan and always presented to a high standard, including cleaning when necessary
Processing customer sales and payments accurately
Supporting colleagues and working together as a team
Maintaining the stockroom
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the Showroom.

Previous experience in a customer-facing. retail position
A genuine interest in furnishings and design
A passion for our brand
Commitment to help shape our business
Self-motivated and commercially driven to reach KPIs and sales targets
Lots of enthusiasm and the curiosity to ask questions and learn
Resilience and adaptable to change
A want to find better ways to do things
A commitment to always providing excellent customer service
Proven communication skills to build rapport and engagement with colleagues and customers

The ability to write and present information
