In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing and leading the safe installation of GRP riser flooring, ensuring adherence to our internal processes and external standards.

You will lead a team of skilled professionals, preparing and managing staff and resources to execute each installation project with precision. You'll require exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail will be essential when co-ordinating schedules, materials, and equipment according to the agreed method statements and specifications detailed by the client.

To ensure smooth project execution, you will proactively manage the availability of goods, tools, and health and safety equipment required for each project, promptly requesting necessary resources, avoiding delays in the installation process, and maintaining productivity at its peak.

As the leader on-site, you'll be expected to prioritise customer Safety, Health, and Environment (S.H.E) requirements. Your commitment to satisfying these requirements will be reflected in the meticulous production of all necessary documentation. By ensuring these standards are met you'll contribute to a successful project outcome.

Proven experience in GRP riser flooring installations or similar projects would be desirable, as well as excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with all stakeholders. The role is approximately 50 hours over 5 days a week.

Job Purpose:

As a supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure the safe and timely installation of GRP riser flooring across multiple installation teams on a single project. This involves preparing and managing staff and resources to execute the installation project according to the agreed method and specifications specified by the client. You will coordinate between teams to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements, manage resources, and prioritise customer Safety, Health, and Environment (S.H.E) requirements. Additionally, you will oversee the installation of bespoke structures made from high-quality GRP composite products, including Dura Profile and Dura Grating. These structures include platforms, walkways, access structures, and other custom-built solutions tailored to meet specific project requirements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:



Supervise on-site projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications. Report to the Site Manager on project progress. Provide on-site leadership, coordinating and guiding the project team. Take responsibility for S.H.E matters, implementing safety protocols. Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings. Maintain work and access equipment, ensuring compliance with PUWER. Review designs and drawings, preparing site reports as needed. Identify and resolve project issues proactively. Ensure clear understanding of technical specifications by the team. Develop adaptable plans according to customer requirements. Attend site meetings to provide updates and collaborate with stakeholders. Manage tools and equipment inventory. Help with the production and amendments of RAMS and other site documents. Ensure all staff wear and utilise PPE as required. Lead by example, following all health and safety requirements. Perform routine maintenance tasks and report equipment malfunctions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:



Willingness to commute to different sites and be comfortable with staying away Monday-Friday for large projects. We endeavour to provide at least one week's notice before requiring anyone to work away from home however if this isn't possible, we give as much notice as we can. To be comfortable with being required to be clean-shaven at all times to ensure proper use of PPE such as face masks. Proven track record in managing GRP riser installations. Experience in site documentation and S.H.E requirements. Full UK Driving licence. Ability to influence site staff and maintain project timelines. Strong awareness of S.H.E practices. Leadership skills and experience in running and motivating teams. Proactive and positive approach to work. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Good judgement, highly organised, with attention to detail. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Relevant certifications such as CSCS card, SSSTS, PASMA, IPAF, and Harness & Lanyard accreditations. Work track side with PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.

Pay: 39,000.00-42,000.00 per year
