Job Description

We are looking for a Site Operative to join the Frontier team, based at Cranswick site, on a fixed-term, full-time basis, for 12 months.
You will be carrying out day-to-day activities primarily associated to the grain storage areas on site. You will assist in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being a part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability and delivering a customer first service.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a good communicator, have a full driving licence and an ability to work with a wide range of equipment and machinery. This role requires a flexible approach to working hours during peak season.

About You

• Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management team
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier's ICE values
• Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
• Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier's business
• Adopts a customer first mindset while ensuring that compliance is maintained at all times that where relevant all internal procedures are adhered to at all times
• Able to work collaboratively with others and to work without supervision
• FLT license (desirable but not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate)

Your Role
As a Site Operative your role will involve:

• Assisting Site Management with all aspects of Grain Storage Operations
• Assisting Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures including keeping records to ensure compliance
• Working to customer requirements regarding drying, cleaning and storage operations in order to produce desired levels of quality and service
• Ensuring general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained
• Ensuring the stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard
