Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes. Diagnosing faults within plumbing systems using specialised tools and techniques. Cutting, fitting, and welding pipes using appropriate welding equipment to ensure secure connections. Using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out repairs or installations efficiently. Performing basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing fixtures or structural modifications as required. Handling heavy lifting safely when moving materials or equipment into position. Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate. Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used for each project. Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work. Proficiency with welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications. Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems and related infrastructure. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical diagrams. Experience with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving where required for transporting materials or equipment. Knowledge of assembly processes related to plumbing components is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards at all times.
