Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete projects effectively. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and systems as required. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or carpenters when necessary to complete projects seamlessly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work. Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving if required for the role. Knowledge of assembly processes related to plumbing components is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
