Skilled Gardener
Job Description
Stephen Ogilvie Garden Design are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified, creative and reliable gardener to join our growing horticultural team, maintaining our clients' gardens to the highest standard.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent plant identification skills
- Knowledge of how and when to prune climbers, shrubs and trees
- How to care for herbaceous borders and experience of planting
- Knowledge of irrigation systems would also be welcome.
As this is a role for a horticulturalist, we require that candidates are qualified to at least RHS Level 2 or equivalent, with at least 2 years hands-on experience.
Chainsaw and PA1 & PA6 spraying licenses would be welcome, though not essential.
Experience of horticultural equipment & machines (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, scarifiers etc) preferred, but training is offered. We also offer opportunities for additional qualifications and courses that are relevant to the role.
Full, clean UK driving license required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.25-14.50 per hour
