Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide compassionate support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring the wellbeing of clients, and supporting care plans. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of individualised care plans under supervision Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality care Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when necessary Ensure a safe and clean environment adhering to health and safety regulations

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of care plans and basic IT systems for record keeping is advantageous Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation or errands Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and following care protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.82-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
