The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple small-scale works and repairs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of small works including responsive repairs, void refurbishments, and minor construction projects.
Manage subcontractors and in-house teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Liaise with tenants, housing associations, local authorities, and clients to ensure satisfaction and effective communication.
Monitor budgets, project timelines, and health & safety compliance.
Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Carry out site inspections and prepare progress reports.
Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery or customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing small works in the domestic or social housing sector.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Full UK driving licence.
Good computer programs understanding
