About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for our partner children's homes. You'll work closely with Registered Managers to ensure outstanding care, strong regulatory compliance, and an environment where both young people and staff can flourish.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing inspiring leadership, support, and direction to Registered Managers across all homes.
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements.
Overseeing operational performance, financial management, and quality assurance.
Developing and embedding policies and procedures that promote best practice.
Leading recruitment, training, and workforce development to build skilled, motivated teams.
Collaborating with external partners including local authorities and safeguarding boards.
Monitoring service delivery and driving continuous improvement.
Embedding a strong safeguarding culture across all services.
About You
We're looking for a driven and experienced professional who can bring strong leadership and strategic vision to this role. You will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role within children's residential services.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
A proven track record of achieving positive Ofsted outcomes.
A deep understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and best practice in residential care.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience managing multiple services and delivering measurable results.
A passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
