The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, can think outside of the box and create new concepts to showcase our product to customer and be an experienced Marketing Manager with strong graphic design and video editing experience.

About the Role



As our Marketing Manager, you'll be the strategic brain behind how we connect with our community and showcase our stunning collections. You'll be instrumental in shaping our market communications as we launch new stores and reach hundreds of thousands of new customers. While this role has a base location of our Basildon head office, the successful candidate will travel frequently to all of our retail outlets across Essex and London to create exceptional and engaging content.

What Your Week Will Look Like:



Key Responsibilities



Hands-on Content Creation:

Direct and film engaging product-focused content in-store or in the studio, create platform-specific edits, and lead

high-level

brainstorming sessions for the next big campaign.

On the Go:

Regularly working from our retail outlets to get the best content and showcase our stores.

Strategic Vision:

Develop, champion, and execute a

cutting-edge

social media and digital content plan that aligns precisely with our brand voice, visual identity, and ambitious business goals. You'll use your sharp analytical skills to measure performance (engagement, reach, conversions), interpret data, and present key strategic insights to our management team.

Cross-functional Team Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with our Buying and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure our campaigns are perfectly timed and visually

optimised

for new product launches. You'll bring your genuine interest in home interiors and trends to guide the aesthetic of all content you create.

High-Impact Project Management:

Beyond day-to-day social media, you'll manage and direct high-impact projects, designing

eye-catching

digital billboards, and overseeing the production of cohesive signage for our new store openings.

Team Leader & Mentor:

Manage, mentor, and grow our marketing team, establishing high standards for consistency and excellence across all platforms.

Core Responsibilities



Direct the strategy and growth

of our social media presence across Facebook and Instagram, ensuring engaging, consistent, and

mission-aligned

storytelling.

Oversee the creation of high-quality, product-focused content

(photos, videos, and killer copy) that champions our key selling points: everything in stock now, fast delivery, great quality, and unbeatable value.

Maintain strategic vigilance

over social and digital trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing opportunities.

Own the entire content production lifecycle

, managing it confidently from concept to execution.

Experience:

Minimum

3+ years of proven success

in a Marketing/Social Media Leadership Role, developing and executing strategies that genuinely drive engagement and brand awareness, and managing direct reports or external creative teams.

Content Expertise:

Strong,

hands-on

experience in content production, including photography, videography, and editing (CapCut or similar), with the ability to direct others in these areas.

Design Flair:

A strong

graphic design eye

and proficiency in creating or directing the creation of visually appealing digital assets using platforms like Canva or similar tools.

Brand Narrative Leader:

Superior copywriting and editorial direction skills, with the ability to define and maintain a consistent, compelling brand voice across all captions, scripts, and communications.

Analytics Interpreter:

Confident in interpreting complex data to refine and improve strategy and report ROI to leadership.

Tech Savvy:

Expert knowledge of social media management tools (Business Suite) and design/editing platforms.

Bonus Points:

A genuine interest in home interiors and trends (

a big plus!

).

Education:

A degree (marketing/media-oriented preferred but not necessary).

Location

: The base location for this role is, Phoenix House, Christopher Martin Road, Basildon, Essex SS14 3EZ . However, this role has a requirement for significant travel to all our retail outlets across Essex and London.

Pay:

45,000 - 50,000 per year depending on experience.
