Here at Whittlebury Park, we are looking for a social media & content executive whose creativity will be instrumental in shaping our social media content & strategy whilst managing PR initiatives to enhance our brand visibility.

Nestled in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland, Whittlebury offers a 254-bedroom, four-star hotel, conference and training centre, and award-winning facilities including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, luxurious spa, and a 36-hole championship golf course.

Role Overview



This is a hands-on, content-driven role for someone who lives and breathes social media and understands the nuances of promoting a luxury brand.

You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality, visually stunning content across our core social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok as well as any other priority platforms according to business needs.

You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to produce the innovative and engaging content that aligns with the brand, analyse and report on platform & post performance, and identify trends to connect the brand with new audiences.

The role also includes working alongside and managing the relationship with our PR agency to build a PR profile and ensuring coverage.

Social Media & Content Executive responsibilities:



Take ownership of planning, scheduling, and executing engaging social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

Stay on top of social trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant

Create, develop and publish short-form videos, reels, imagery, and compelling copy that reflect the brand's luxury tone and aesthetic

Identify, co-ordinate, and execute photography & videography needed to support the brand and for social content

Create visually appealing content for paid search (PPC & Facebook)

Produce and deliver detailed reports on social media performance, campaigns results, PR & media coverage, to offer insights and recommendations to improve future activity

Alongside detailed reporting, additionally reporting monthly on Marketing & PR KPIs and broader business objectives

Assist in identifying and developing improvements to WPs social media capabilities including its systems, policies, staff awareness, and training

Ensure any offline content is reflective of tone of voice and brand values and in line with online activity

Work alongside and manage the relationship with our PR agency to ensure maximum coverage and brand visibility

Deliver Awards programme to target relevant market segments to maximise entry opportunities, producing and delivering an annual awards proposal and summary, ensuring maximum PR profile, both internally and externally

To support the press office function day-to-day delivery including handling press enquiries, co-ordinating film requests and on-site media visits

Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards and be a brand champion

Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign planning and execution, supporting launches, promotions, and partnerships

Experience:



Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a content or social media role, ideally within a Hospitality or Lifestyle industry

A strong-level of experience using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTokwith a strong understanding of each platform's audience, analytics, and best practices

Proven experience in video production, image curation, and content creation

A strong visual eye and understanding of luxury aesthetics

Proactive, collaborative, and a confident mind-set to present creative ideas to wider teams

Strong copywriting and content creation skills

Basic photography, videography, and editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)

Highly organized with great project management and time management skills

Experience in reporting performance analysis for social media campaigns

We would love to see examples of your work on social media - posts, channels, campaigns

This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.

Competitive salary of 27,000 - 29,000 per annum
